Toning lotions should always be used after cleansing the skin. Cleansers and toners go together like a horse and carriage, you should not have one without the other. The cleansers lift off dirt. The toners remove any last trace of cleanser, tighten up the pores, stimulate circulation and leave the skin zingy and ready for a moisturiser. All my toning lotions contain witch-hazel instead of alcohol, so are very soothing and refreshing. They come in the three Little Myles essential oil mixes: Chamomile; Tea Tree or Mandarin and Jasmine.
