Little Myles Cosmetics was founded by Judy Cowan in 1992. It is a small, quintessentially English company committed to producing by traditional methods pure, healthy handmade hair preparations and cosmetics. All products in the range are inspired and sourced by the plethora of herbs grown in the beautiful gardens at Little Myles in Stondon Massey a horticultural haven which opens for charity to the public two Sundays a year.

Little Myles Cosmetics uses only the finest ingredients in its products: cocoa butter, aloe vera, beeswax, eyebright, rich blends of natural oils and vegetable waxes, and nourishing oils such as almond, wheat germ, jojoba, safflower and avocado. Pure essential oils containing the extracted vital essences of aromatic plants, have been carefully sourced and mixed to create five special Little Myles key blends: Mandarin & Jasmine, Chamomile, Lemongrass, Tea Tree and Autumn Forest. We harvest marigold petals from our garden for our soothing Marigold Cream and young nettles from our wildflower meadow to put in our popular lavender and nettle cream and luxurious hair conditioner. The nettle hair conditioner, together with the two herbal shampoos have proved to be our most successful products as they seem to improve the condition and health of the hair and scalp and are particularly popular with people who have very fine or thin hair that has lost its bounce and body.

Little Myles Cosmetics has been a supporter of FRAME (Fund for the Replacement of Animals in Medical Experiments) since the start of the company in 1992. Our bottle labels proudly bear the rabbit logo and telephone number of FRAME. To help FRAME achieve its ultimate goal of totally eliminating the need for any experiments on living animals through the development and use of relevant and reliable replacement methods, Little Myles Cosmetics has donated money raised from opening the garden at Little Myles and giving talks about the handmade herbal cosmetic business.
